COVID-19 Preparedness and Response Plan

HEALTH ASSESSMENTS FOR STAFF

We conduct a daily entry self-screening protocol for all employees and contractors entering the workplace. It includes a temperature check, a questionnaire covering symptoms, and suspected or confirmed exposure to people with possible COVID-19 utilizing the COVID-19 Daily Self Screening Form.

SERVICE DELIVERY PROTOCOL

Protocol for modified curbside care:

  • Clients are scheduled by appointment over-the-phone

  • Clients check in by phone from the parking lot (contactless sign-in)

  • Clients wait in their vehicle until they can be escorted into the building by the assistant or licensed veterinary technician (LVT) assigned to their appointment

  • Everyone in the building must wear a facemask over their mouth and nose at all times, no matter their vaccination status

  • We will allow employees with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 to return to the workplace only after they are no longer infectious according to the latest guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”).

  • We will immediately send home any employee with confirmed infection in the workplace, temporarily close all or part of the worksite to allow for deep cleaning.

CLIENT NOTIFICATION OF BUSINESS PROTOCOLS

Signs are posted on the front doors stating:

  • No Admittance (without staff escort)

  • Facemasks Required (Everyone in the building must wear a facemask over their mouth and nose at all times, no matter their vaccination status.)
